Chobe & Linyanti Chobe National Park is an extensive safari area in the north-east of Botswana. Often divided into three distinct regions, Chobe includes the Chobe River in the north that forms Botswana's border with Namibia, part of which lies within Chobe National Park; the Savuti Channel and Marsh in the interior of Chobe National Park; and the Linyanti River and Linyanti Reserve along the western boundary of Chobe National Park. The Linyanti Reserve consists of 310,000 acres of prime wildlife countryside. The region contains all the right diverse elements to make it a paradise for wildlife. The area is famous for its Lions which have been documented in National Geographic films.
